Why is India a soft target for Terrorists and why WE are responsible for it
Recent terror attacks in Delhi have made me think about the mentality of these coward bastards especially regarding attacking Indian cities, Indian people, Indian buildings and establishments.
Now before we go in-depth on this topic let’s make it clear that a terrorist should be grouped under just one set. We should not make the mistake of calling terrorists as these are Tamil terrorists, these are the Muslims ones, these are the Hindu ones and these are Sikh militants… By doing so we give them a sense of belonging to that particular ethnic group and I am sure that the thoughts and ideals that these bastards have are definitely not shared by the entire group. So let’s create a different set for the cowards and put them under one header and that would be 'Terrorists'.
We have had attacks in almost all the cities of India. Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad… List goes on. The only one similar thing is these cowardly attacks have been on common Indian public. The people who put the bombs in Pune's German bakery or in Mumbai Zaveri bazaar did not target a specific group. It was not like 'We want to kill only Hindus or Muslims... ’ The casualties have been from across the geographical and religious boundaries and divides that we have in this country. We all saw what happened in Mumbai when just a handful of 'boys' held up the entire national security of India [Army , NSG, Mumbai Police etc] at their mercy for more than 72 hrs in 2008 killing 164 people and wounding at least 308. We all know that these attacks were carried out by Islamist attackers.
Did they check what religion the person belonged to before mercilessly shooting him? Is it that they left alone Muslim civilians? Did they have any motive of betterment of Muslims in their mind when they created havoc and fear among the common man, which obviously is inclusive of all the religions? The answer is obvious. Terrorists are fanatics which do not belong to any religion. Period!
But still we see that these attacks keep on happening.. More and more common men are put out of the misery of living a life of fear and at the same time plunging their families who rely on them for everything [financial and emotional support], into a long and lonely darkness. Media will do what is good for its TRP and be 24X7 on the issue till they get the profit out of it. When the issue becomes ‘cold’ and there is a decline in viewership, media will leave it to its own fate. Home minister and Prime minister will issue baseless and spineless statements such as 'Terrorism would not be tolerated anymore and we will find and bring to justice the person responsible for this attack'... Blah!
Now, let’s think it from the terrorist's point of view.
We now know that these terrorists are no fools. They are actually as advanced technologically [or may be better!] than our common policemen. They use sophisticated equipments and planning before executing any attacks. So we can safely assume that they read our daily news and what all is happening in India, what decisions are being taken by Indian politicians, what reactions Indian people are exhibiting to these decisions and what rulings are being passed by the Indian Judiciary.
Don't you think that terrorists must be looking at India as one of the best places to work at?
I am sure if there was a poll for 'Terrorist centric Workplace' then India would win the award without any competition.
Consider following 'lucrative' points
1) Security - AfZal Guru, Rajiv Gandhi's assassin and the new blue-eyed boy of terrorists, Kasab, are living happily in Indian jails for years. We spend crores of rupees in their security! 2) Fame - These terrorist if freed will be hunted down by Big Boss for sure. Just imagine the TRP that a kasab would get on Big Boss?? So Fame. They have it in abundance. Moreover, these are considered as ideals by many 'freshers’ in Terrorism outfits so they get to become role models as well! 3) Money - Who needs money? They are our guests and "Atithi devo bhava" is the tradition in India. Terrorists can live 'happily ever after' in Indian jails and we the tax payers are capable to feed them for life. 4) Guarantee that they will LIVE - This is the best part you know... Now I will type as a first person. How a terrorist thinks."I have accomplished my task. I have shaken the roots of India and proven that me and my cause is the greatest. People are now thinking about it and I am sure I will be getting a huge support from the some common Indian people. So far... so good... so now what?? Let’s live a life of considerable comfort in Tihar now. I get a nice room, 4 meals a day, clean clothes... Moreover I am a VIP prisoner so I have my own aura and I am different from these other prisoners. They know it well and will treat me with real respect or fearful respect but respect! So the case will go on in High Court for years and years... then I can again ask my state appointed lawyer to appeal in Supreme Court... Then if Supreme Court decides to hang me I can always apply for clemency to Indian president. President will need advice from Home Ministry which would again take years. Then if President decides to hang me I will use the latest technique being used for postponing the death penalty of Rajiv Gandhi's assassins... I am sure than some or the other community would think that I am innocent or my cause was just and will raise the issues of Human rights so as to delay my hanging.... haha... I am going to live a long and healthy life... thanks to the age-old and justice-is-same-for-all [Even maniacs like me] type of working incorporated in Indian judiciary, greedy and vote-bank politics practices of the Indian politicians and most of all the weak and divided mentality of Indian people when dealing with terrorists like me who belongs to xxxxxxxx religion/region..."
[The xxxxxxxx can be replaced with the religion or region of your choice]
My friends.
- Rajiv Gandhi's Assassins have open support from Tamil Government because it is an emotional issue for Tamilians.
- Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar has support from Punjab's ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal as it is an emotive issue for the Sikh community.
- Afzal Guru has a FAN FOLLOWING! He has support from political groups in Kashmir. They have a website for saving this maniac! http://justiceforafzalguru.org/
- On July 30 2011, Kasab moved the Supreme Court of India challenging his conviction and death sentence by Bombay high court. Case is nowhere on agenda of Supreme Court. Might be a decade or two before Supreme Court 'uphelds' the decision of the high court. Then Kasab, like his other 'colleagues' will write to the president for clemency and by then I am sure that a section of our own Indian people will fight for the issue and agitate against the ‘barbarian’ and ‘unjust’ decision of Supreme Court of India to hang Kasab and thus postponing his sentence infinitely.
The best possible way to ensure that these attacks do not happen is by adopting a 'No Tolerance' attitude towards these bastards no matter from what community they are. These people have been given all the options for proving that they are innocent [A Mockery of Indian Judiciary.. After years Indian Court decided that Kasab is ‘Guilty’! Hah!]. Still someone out there is supporting these maniacs and people like us get carried away in the emotional turmoil. Let’s start by considering these bastards belonging to only one group which has no connection to any region, religion or language.
We need to be united in this fight against terrorism and should not get carried away by 'who' the terrorist is, important and punishable is 'what' he has done. We should not even give a second thought when the question of punishing these bastards with the capital punishment is considered. No matter even if the person in question belongs to your own religion or region or speaks the same language.
Just think about the common Indian man who was standing in queue at the Delhi High Court Gate no:5, waiting to get the entry pass since he is a law-abiding citizen of India and has belief in the Judiciary, might be thinking about his kids whom he had just dropped at the school before reaching the court in time for the hearing of some family case which has been stuck for years, but still is hopeful that he will get the decision today... and suddenly a blast. Just 'deleting' him from the face of the earth and along with him the dreams of his family.
He was a common Indian. Just like you and me. Replace him with yourself and story would be the same.
It is speculated that this blast was the result of refusal to grant the clemency to Afzal Guru by the Indian president.
If we don't think alike on this issue and punish these coward extremists without a bias and in a timely manner...
Just think what message we are sending to the terrorist outfits world over about Indian people and Indian justice.
Think...
